Zesty Za'atar Dressing

This vibrant Za'atar Dressing is bursting with flavour thanks to creamy tahini, zesty lemon, and earthy za'atar spice. It's incredibly easy to whisk together and perfect for salads, grain bowls, or as a marinade. You'll love this versatile dressing!

Ingredients

  • 8 tbsp Tahini
  • 4 tbsp Za’atar
  • 1 Whole Lemon
  • 1 tsp Toasted sesame oil
  • 1 Pinch Salt
  • 1 Pinch Pepper
  • 175 ml Water

Instructions

  • Combine: Tahini, lemon juice and zest, sesame oil and za’atar in a bowl, and mix well.
  • Gradually Whisk: Add water a little at a time, whisking constantly, until a smooth dressing forms.
  • Adjust: Add more water if needed to reach your desired consistency.
  • Season: With salt and pepper to taste.

Notes

  • The mixture may seize up as you add the water, but will loosen up as you continue whisking.
  • This recipe makes a thin dressing. Use less water for a thicker consistency.
